Sworn Merchandise Broker

I am an international merchandise broker registered as a Sworn Merchandise Broker (Courtier de Marchandises Assermenté, CMA) with the Court of Appeal of Lyon, France, for Section VI of the customs nomenclature, Products of the Chemical Industry.

 

As a Sworn Merchandise Broker, I meet requests for expert assessment from players in the chemicals industry (manufacturers, traders, importers and exporters, etc.).

 

My market analysis and interaction spans the globe

 

I provide expert advice in tune with market trends

 

I negotiate the terms of the contract on your behalf

 

I arrange end-to-end tracking and successful completion of your transactions

 

 

 

An international focus

 

I speak fluent French, English and Spanish and have a basic knowledge of Arabic, having worked in the Middle East for several years.

 

My clients and suppliers are located in Africa, the Americas, Asia and Europe, with the result being that I’ve been able to build a worldwide network and develop an understanding of relevant cultural sensitivities.

Working for the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) gave me the opportunity to learn about the nutrition and public health sectors and develop projects and partnerships with international organisations such as UNICEF, the World Food Programme (WFP) and Helen Keller International (HKI), as well as Nutrition International (NI) and the Food Fortification Initiative (FFI).
